Visiting The Oasis in Austin was such a great experience. From the moment you arrive, the view of Lake Travis is breathtaking, especially at sunset—it’s truly one of the best spots in Texas to catch the sunset. The vibe is super relaxed and fun, with live music on some nights and a very welcoming atmosphere. Service can be a bit slow when it’s crowded, but the staff is always friendly and does their best to make things run smoothly. The food is simple—Tex-Mex and American classics—perfect for enjoying with friends or family. It’s not gourmet, but it works great for a casual outing.
The place is beautiful, especially for watching the sunset with a stunning view of the lake. If you’re visiting in the summer, it’s best to arrive between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. to avoid the worst heat and still catch the sunset. 🍹 The drinks are really good. 🍽️ The food is just okay—could be better in terms of flavor and presentation. 🙌 The service was excellent, especially considering the waiters have to go up and down stairs in the heat. Our server, Andree, was super kind and attentive the entire time. Definitely worth it for the view and relaxed atmosphere. Great for a calm afternoon with friends or as a couple.
Great place of raw beautiful view. The food was really good fresh tasty well seasoned drinks were very nicely made. Staff was very friendly accommodating plenty of room scene
Amazing scenery overlooking Lake Travis! Although bit cloudy on the day we visited the sunset was amazing! The staffs were friendly but did notice they were understaffed for such large establishment. The food was nothing to write about and overpriced, but price was worth it for the scenery. We set inside for the AC then moved our way out to the balcony an hour before (go to the balcony below the main dining level, less crowded) the sunset. Got celebrate my dad's 76th birthday in style!
Coming all the way from Chicago this place has been on my bucket list for seven years. I’m glad I finally got to see it. Very nice ambience taste of Europe with the whole gates in the locks. The service was very kind and nice and fast our servers or Apple and Charlie, and they are super wonderful Super kind yes ma’am this and yes ma’am that, very attentive. check in on us and tell you the food came out so fast it was unbelievable. We have a lollipop chicken. They were pretty good. I will give them a seven out of 10 on whatever the sauce that they drizzle. They need a little more of that on top because this chicken has like a blackened and type of taste so you know that not looking if you’re looking for a savory or salty or flavorful type of dish, it wouldn’t be that but if you feel like extra sauce on the wings cause like I said they do have a blackened and type of flavoring. The nachos are my least favorite. The whole presentation of nachos. It was just too much stuff on top of the nachos. They were very soggy too quickly for me and I ordered the beef and I could barely see any of the meat on there, the fried pickles were amazing. The jalapeño poppers are good, but the star of the show was that chocolate cheesecake.
